Free Quilting Patterns

The Free Quilting Patterns page will have links for you ladies to all our favorite quilters who share free patterns with us. I love free patterns and take advantage of them every chance I get. I am on a budget and sometimes I want a new pattern but don’t have the money, so I look for free patterns! Many of us are on a budget and I want to help and support my fellow quilters with easy access to free patterns from my page. Due to retirement and the price of quilting fabric, we all need a little brack in spending. Please enjoy the links and come back often to see more updates on patterns.

Save your Favorit Free Quilting Patterns in PDF!

I recommend saving your favorite Free Quilting Patterns in PDF or printing them so you have them. I have been doing this for a while now and sometimes the links no longer work due to the quilter taking that pattern down and putting up some new ones. Our favorite quilters cannot keep years of patterns up so they have to change them every now and then. Bottom line PDF or print your favorite patterns.

Always better safe than sorry with your collection of Free Quilting Patterns!

This page will be aligned by quieter so you can scroll down find the quilter and find patterns. I will be sharing some of my favorites and showing pictures of the quilts I have made. The reality for us quilters is we have many UFO’s “Unfinished Objets” laying around our quilt rooms.

For all of us quilters! Let’s keep the humor going!

  • UFP’s are Un-finished Projects
  • UFQ’s are Un-finished Quilts
  • UFO’s are Un-finished Objects

Which one do you and your friends use?

I remember the days when I started a quilt and didn’t start another one until the quilt I was working on was finished. Can you relate? I now have many UFQs in my quilt room and I don’t always know which one to go back to so sometimes I just start another one. Do you do this too? Quilters might be sewing goddesses but we have attention issues! This makes me laugh!

I hope you enjoy this Free Quilting Pattern Page!

Jordan Fabrics link to free patterns

One of my favorite patterns from Jordan Fabrics is the Mosaic pattern. I am working on this one right now. This is the picture of it in process. It’s laid out on my bed to make sure I liked the layout and I will be puttig sashing between the blocks. This one I am making for myself and custom sizing it to my bed. With a standard king bed none of the comforters go far enough to hide my mattresses on the sides or the bottom. Do as us quilters Do – make it to fit what you want it to fit!

Have any of you made this one from Jordan Fabrics? Watched the video on YouTube and just fell in love with it. This one is called Rainbow Lone Star. I will be making one of these quilts for myself one day. Donna has the most amazing technique for doing the Lone Star pattern. Highly recommend watching the YouTube if you want to make one.

Jordan Fabrics is one of my favorite Free Quilting Pattern sites!

Donna & Matt Jordan did quilt show and that’s when I found Matt’s pre-cuts for log cabins! I have lots of his pre-cuts and love them! These two make a great team and are so nice and creative. Love them! I dont see them much at shows anymore but if you get a chance to say HI please do! I have seen their daughter and another employee last the last show I attended which was Road2California in Ontario. Both of them were very nice!
